Kids2Dentist is looking for a Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant who knows how to keep a busy pediatric practice humming. If you take pride in a perfectly prepped operatory, a smooth-running schedule, and a patient who leaves smiling, you'll fit right in here.
A day in the role
You're the doctor's right hand from the first patient to the last. You set up and break down operatories, assist chairside through procedures, take radiographs and impressions, and keep instruments sterilized and trays stocked. You chart accurately, handle patient intake, and make sure records are clean and complete. Through all of it, you're the friendly, steady presence that puts kids and parents at ease.
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant or RDA status; RDA strongly preferred.
- Radiation Safety (X-ray) certification.
- Coronal polish certification (RDA).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of chairside assisting, sterilization and infection control, radiographs, impressions, patient intake, and clinical record keeping.
- Experience in a pediatric setting is a plus, but not required.
- Reliability, a team-first attitude, and genuine patience with children and parents.

Full-time. Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., generally one to two Saturdays per month.
