Dr. Brooks grew up in Monroe, Louisiana. She later graduated from Dillard University with a bachelor’s of science in biology ,and her love for HBCUs led her to Meharry Medical College. At Meharry, a mentorship was cultivated with our owner, Dr. Lanier, which led her to the central valley immediately after graduation. Dr. Brooks’ love for working with children was developed from her dentist, who helped her overcome her fear of dental appointments. “I was not the easiest patient growing up . My dentist had a way with kids that made me love coming to the dentist which ultimately led me to this career. My goal is to create that same ease, care, and health for my patients.” Dr. Brooks is humbled and honor to serve such a wonderful community.

When Dr. Brooks is away from the office, she likes to spend time with loved ones, eat Pho, and travel. Recently, she’s developed a love for watching sports and listening to sports podcasts with her boyfriend.
